ROR IDs uniquely identify institutions, so affiliations are consistent regardless of naming variations across languages and time.
We include ROR IDs in article metadata deposited with Crossref to improve institutional discovery and reporting.
ROR is open, community-led and free to use, aligning with our commitment to open scholarly infrastructure.
