Bilge Academic Publishing is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, research integrity, and transparency throughout the publishing process. We follow the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices, the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and other internationally recognized principles of responsible scholarly publishing. All participants in the publication process are expected to uphold these standards to ensure the integrity and reliability of the scholarly record.

Ethical Responsibilities

Publication ethics is a shared responsibility among the publisher, editors, reviewers, and authors. Each party is expected to act with honesty, transparency, fairness, confidentiality, and respect for research integrity throughout the submission, peer review, publication, and post publication processes. Editorial decisions are made independently and solely on the scholarly merit of submitted manuscripts.

Research Misconduct

Bilge Academic Publishing does not tolerate research or publication misconduct, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and peer review manipulation. Allegations of misconduct are investigated fairly, confidentially, and impartially in accordance with the COPE Flowcharts and established best practices.

Corrections and Retractions

When errors or misconduct are identified after publication, Bilge Academic Publishing takes appropriate action to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record. Depending on the nature of the issue, this may include publishing a correction, corrigendum, expression of concern, or retraction. All post publication updates are clearly linked to the original article and remain permanently accessible.
