Bilge Academic Publishing is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly quality through a rigorous, fair, and transparent peer review process. All research articles submitted to our journals undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by independent peer review before a final publication decision is made.
Each submission is first evaluated by the editorial office or handling editor to determine whether it falls within the journal’s scope and meets the required standards of originality, scientific quality, ethical compliance, and manuscript preparation. Manuscripts that do not satisfy these requirements may be rejected without external peer review.
Bilge Academic Publishing journals operate a double blind peer review system. The identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process to promote impartiality and minimize potential bias.
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, research experience, and subject knowledge relevant to the manuscript. All reviewers are expected to declare any actual or potential conflicts of interest and to maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts they evaluate. Each manuscript is normally reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
Editors consider the reviewers’ recommendations together with their own independent assessment when making editorial decisions. Manuscripts may be accepted, returned for minor or major revision, or rejected. The final decision rests solely with the editor and is based on the scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, and significance of the research.
Bilge Academic Publishing strives to ensure that the peer review process is conducted in a timely, objective, and constructive manner. Authors receive reviewers’ comments and are given an appropriate opportunity to revise their manuscripts in response to the recommendations. Editorial decisions are made without discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, institutional affiliation, or funding source.
