Bilge Academic Publishing values the essential contribution of peer reviewers in maintaining the quality, integrity, and credibility of scholarly publishing. Reviewers play a vital role in ensuring that published research meets high standards of originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and academic significance. We encourage reviewers to conduct fair, objective, timely, and constructive evaluations in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively and provide clear, constructive, and evidence based comments that assist editors in making informed decisions and help authors improve their work. Reviews should assess the originality, scientific quality, methodological soundness, clarity, significance, ethical standards, and overall contribution of the manuscript while maintaining a professional and respectful tone.
All manuscripts received for review are confidential documents. Reviewers must not share, distribute, discuss, or use unpublished information contained in a manuscript for personal or professional advantage. Manuscripts and supplementary materials must not be uploaded to third party platforms, including generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools or other external services, as doing so may compromise author confidentiality and intellectual property.
Reviewers should disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review invitation. If a conflict exists that may affect their ability to provide an objective assessment, reviewers should decline the invitation so that another qualified reviewer can be appointed.
Reviewers are encouraged to complete their evaluations within the agreed review period. If they are unable to meet the deadline or believe they lack the appropriate expertise, they should promptly inform the editorial office so that alternative arrangements can be made.
Bilge Academic Publishing recognizes the valuable contribution of peer reviewers to the scholarly community. Reviewers may receive formal acknowledgment for completed reviews where appropriate, and journals may support the integration of verified peer review activities with ORCID and other recognized reviewer recognition services, subject to journal policies and reviewer consent.
