Bilge Academic Publishing is committed to providing an efficient, transparent, and ethical publishing experience for authors. We publish fully open access, peer reviewed journals that follow internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing. Authors are encouraged to carefully review the policies and submission requirements of the selected journal before submitting their manuscripts.

Choosing the Right Journal

Before submission, authors should ensure that their manuscript matches the aims and scope of the selected journal. Each journal has specific editorial priorities, article types, and author guidelines that should be carefully reviewed to improve the likelihood of successful peer review.

Preparing Your Manuscript

Authors should prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s Instructions for Authors and manuscript template where applicable. Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English, follow the required reference style, and include all essential sections appropriate for the study design.

Before submission, authors should ensure that:

  • the manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere;
  • all authors have approved the submitted version;
  • identifying information has been removed from the manuscript where double blind review is used;
  • references, tables, figures, and supplementary files comply with the journal’s formatting requirements;
  • ethical approval and informed consent statements are included where required.

Required Declarations

To promote transparency and research integrity, manuscripts should include the following information where applicable:

  • ORCID iDs for all authors;
  • CRediT Author Contribution Statement;
  • Funding Statement;
  • Conflict of Interest Declaration;
  • Data Availability Statement;
  • Ethics Approval Statement;
  • Informed Consent Statement (when applicable);
  • Acknowledgements.

Submission and Peer Review

All manuscripts are submitted through the journal’s online submission system. After submission, manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability for peer review. Suitable submissions are evaluated through a rigorous double blind peer review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

After Acceptance

Following acceptance, manuscripts enter the production process, which includes professional copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, metadata preparation, and DOI registration through Crossref. Articles are published as fully open access under the journal’s Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) licence and are preserved through trusted digital preservation services, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).

Publication Charges

Bilge Academic Publishing does not charge submission fees, Article Processing Charges (APCs), publication fees, page charges, or colour charges. Publication decisions are based exclusively on scholarly quality and are entirely independent of an author’s financial circumstances.
