Publishing Policies

Digital Preservation Policy

Bilge Academic Publishing is committed to ensuring the long term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of the scholarly record. We employ recognized digital preservation services and persistent identifiers to ensure that published content remains permanently available to the global research community.

Digital Preservation

All published articles are preserved through trusted digital preservation services to protect against data loss, technical failure, or platform changes. These preservation mechanisms ensure that scholarly content remains accessible even if a journal ceases publication or its hosting infrastructure changes.

PKP Preservation Network

Journals published by Bilge Academic Publishing participate in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides distributed preservation of journal content through a secure and trusted network of preservation nodes. This service helps ensure the long term availability and integrity of published articles.

Persistent Identifiers

Every published article is assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref. DOIs provide stable, persistent links to scholarly content and ensure that articles remain discoverable and citable regardless of changes to website structure or hosting arrangements.

Platform Security and Backups

Bilge Academic Publishing maintains regular system backups and appropriate technical measures to safeguard journal content and metadata. These procedures support business continuity and help protect the integrity of the scholarly record.

Metadata Preservation

Comprehensive article metadata are deposited with Crossref at the time of publication. Metadata deposits include bibliographic information, licensing information, and persistent identifiers, improving discoverability, interoperability, and long term access across indexing services, repositories, and scholarly communication platforms.

Commitment to Long Term Access

Bilge Academic Publishing is committed to maintaining permanent access to published research. Through digital preservation, persistent identifiers, and trusted scholarly infrastructure, we ensure that published articles remain accessible, discoverable, and citable for future generations of researchers.
